Fairhive was established in July 2006, and is responsible for 7,355 homes across Aylesbury Town and the Vale, ranging from small clusters in rural villages to large mixed tenure estates.

idverde is working in partnership with the Trust to deliver grounds maintenance, arboricultural and street cleansing services to their tenants and leaseholders throughout Aylesbury Town and the wider Vale. Although the majority of stock is general needs housing, there are also 600 sheltered homes spread over 16 schemes, 100 shared ownership homes and 600 leasehold properties. Beginning in January 2012, our partnership seeks to provide efficient, cost effective services that are seamless, co-ordinated and meet the specific needs of the tenants and leaseholders of the Trust.

With the Trust’s vision to ‘strengthen our communities and improve the lives of local people’, we aim to deliver our services with the ideas and interests of the local community at the forefront.

OUR SERVICE

idverde is responsible for a wide array of services across the area including within general housing estates, communal grounds and sheltered accommodation. We work in partnership with the Trust to maintain and manage 75 hectares of land throughout the Vale, which includes approximately 50 hectares of grassed areas and 4 hectares of horticultural features.

The maintenance work itself covers a broad range of horticultural, arboricultural and street cleansing services, and includes:

  • Grass cutting
  • Hedge maintenance
  • Litter picking and sweeping
  • Weeding
  • Shrub, rose and flower bed maintenance
  • Garage site maintenance
  • Arboricultural works
  • Winter gritting
