idverde team improving knowledge with ROSPA Training

The idverde Play team has recently taken part in external training provided by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA).

The team has 6 new operational level inspectors in play, as well as 21 sales and design colleagues who have been through similar training to help support our ability to provide compliant and safe spaces for our customers.

In a recent report provided by ROSPA, we learnt that approximately 40,000 injuries happen to children on playgrounds each year. With this in mind, we are taking every step possible as a leading playground provider to ensure that we can prevent as many of these cases.

‘This was a very insightful day for our teams across the business and ensures our teams have the latest knowledge to offer our customers on their external spaces.’ – Oscar Sorabjee , National Services Director

Not every incident can be prevented from occurring, however preventing accidents in play areas and outdoor spaces is key as sites can be sued for negligence if they fail to take reasonable care in ensuring that their playgrounds are safe.

The idverde Play team works tirelessly to make sure that you are aware of the risks and obligations as a playground facility provider. With the latest training in mind, we will be providing even more in-depth information for ways you can work to reduce the risk and keep on top of playground maintenance.
