Change to the leadership of idverde UK

I would like to let you all know that Terry Woodhouse will be leaving as UK CEO on 9 May 2025. I am very grateful to Terry for his outstanding leadership of the UK business since October 2024.

He has played a pivotal role in driving transformation, reinvigorating the business and strengthening the foundations for future growth, and I thank Terry for his dedication and impact.

Many of you, I’m sure, will want to take the opportunity over the next month to thank him. I know Terry would like to add a personal note to you all:

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with idverde. I joined to stabilise the UK’s performance after a difficult period, and thanks to everyone’s efforts, we achieved solid results in Q4 2024 and are now well positioned for a successful 2025. idverde UK has real potential to deliver significant change. It’s a business that will be impossible to forget – everywhere you go in this country there are just too many reminders of the enormous impact you all have on our green environment and long may that continue. I have full confidence that you will continue to build on this momentum, and I wish you all well”.

Looking ahead, I am pleased to announce that Aidan Bell will be joining idverde UK as CEO, effective 12 May 2025. As I outlined when Terry joined, we have been working in stages to find a new leader for the UK business. Terry has helped to finalise the strategic and operational plans for the next stage of growth, and with the launch of the ELEVATE Business Transformation Programme, it’s the right time for Aidan to step into the role and drive this forward.

Aidan brings extensive leadership experience in building services, facilities management, and outsourcing, with a strong track record in business growth, operational excellence, and high-performing team development. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at ISS Facilities Services, where he helped lead a £1.3bn integrated facilities services business. His expertise in project and change management will be invaluable as the UK team continues its transformation journey.

Aidan says,

I am very proud, and indeed honoured, to be given the opportunity to lead idverde UK. It’s clear that the business already provides exceptional services throughout the UK and is well-placed for future growth. I am looking forward to seeing how our teams deliver green spaces that are enjoyed by thousands of people every day, and to supporting the ongoing safety, training and development of every one of our colleagues”.

I am confident that Aidan’s leadership will drive idverde in the UK to new heights and he will add value to the whole group. Please join me in thanking Terry for his invaluable contribution and welcoming Aidan. If you have any questions, please speak with your line manager or Amanda Capon, UK Chief People and Culture Officer.
