idverde Celebrates Success at the 2024 BALI National Landscape Awards
idverde is delighted to have attended the prestigious BALI National Landscape Awards, an event that celebrates the outstanding achievements of the landscaping industry across the UK. We are proud to announce that idverde has been honoured with two National Awards, recognising our exceptional work with Manchester City Football Club and Manor Gardens in Bexhill.
idverde is thrilled to have sponsored the Supplier Exceptional Service award. During the event, Manchester City Football Club won the coveted Grounds Maintenance Private Access Principal Award. Furthermore, George Davis Turf won our sponsored award for Supplier Exceptional Service.
Our first accolade was awarded to Manor Gardens in the Grounds Maintenance Free Public Access category. Thanks to the dedication of our full-time on-site gardener and skilled contract team, this much-loved public space has been maintained to an exceptional standard.
From the enchanting walled garden and rose garden to the vibrant seasonal displays, Manor Gardens continues to charm visitors and has been recognised for its horticultural excellence with accolades such as the Silver Gilt in South and South-East in Bloom.
This latest award is a testament to our commitment to enhancing and preserving green spaces for all to enjoy. We were also thrilled to witness our very own Head Gardener, Mike Cranfield, being awarded a special personal dedication accolade for his significant contribution to Manor Gardens over the years. A huge well done to Mike!
In the Private Grounds Maintenance category, we were recognised with the principal award for our work with Manchester City Football Club. By adopting innovative and sustainable landscaping practices, including biodiversity-focused initiatives and a comprehensive soil recycling programme, we have transformed the club’s grounds.
The creation of the stunning Blue Moon Meadow highlights our efforts to align exceptional grounds maintenance with ecological consciousness, delivering green spaces that are not only visually impressive but also environmentally beneficial.

The biodiversity features at the training campus are a great example of how nature can thrive alongside a world class sports environment.”

On visiting Manor Gardens, the BALI judges were so blown away that they awarded our very own Head Gardener, Mike Cranfield, a special recognition of personal dedication. He had no idea about it until his name was announced, the look of joy on his face spoke volumes and he confessed to feel really touched by the recognition.

The 2024 BALI National Landscape Awards saw 79 National Awards presented across 24 categories, highlighting the industry’s dedication to quality, innovation, and sustainability. This year’s winning projects represent the pinnacle of landscaping excellence, raising the bar for craftsmanship and environmental responsibility.
The awards ceremony took place on 6 December 2024 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, hosted by award-winning comedian Aurie Styla. Our team had a fantastic time celebrating alongside our clients and peers in applauding the exceptional contributions of everyone in the industry.
