idverde Completes Second Acquisition In Holland

Acquisition of Verboon establishes new stronghold for idverde in The Hague

BTL (part of idverde) is expanding! Last Thursday BTL’s acquisition of the The Hague based companies Verboon Groen & GWW and Verboon Machines was made official. With this step BTL is better represented in the region and can provide more services. This take-over fits in with the company’s global strategy to grow both organically as well as through acquisitions.

Verboon was established in 1965 and, with 55 employees, operates predominantly in the western part of the province Zuid-Holland. Their yearly sales are appr. €7m. Olaf Janssen (CEO in the NL) said: “Our local network is very important for our clients so that they have a contact person close at hand. As a strong regional player Verboon will be able to fulfil this job excellently.”

“I’ve worked at the development of Verboon with a lot of pride and joy since 1991”, says Jan Verboon (CEO). “From agricultural machine hire and driver to all-round contractor in green services and ground, road and hydraulic engineering. This connection to BTL offers our clients and employees many new opportunities. For the time being, we will keep operating under the familiar name of Verboon, whilst getting the opportunity to use the advantages of a large international organization. I’m looking forward to being able to play a part in the further development of our organization within BTL.”

“Through collaboration on different projects, Verboon and BTL are well acquainted”, says Olaf Janssen. “We share the same values and both have a natural respect for our surroundings. A good starting point for a solid integration of two companies. Together we will be able to work on many more beautiful projects. It brings me great joy to welcome Jan to our organisation. As an adviser he will be a valuable addition to our team.”
