Partnering for a greener future: Gzimi joins idverde Germany

Following the acquisitions of Jörg Seidenspinner Garten- und Landschaftsbau GmbH and Landscape Garten- und Landschaftsbau GmbH, idverde Germany is pleased to announce the acquisition of Gzimi Garten- und Landschaftsbau GmbH.  The Munich-based company currently employs around 70 staff and has been a leading expert for outdoor facilities, sports fields and green roofs in the region since 2005.

This acquisition brings together two companies with a shared vision of innovation and sustainable future for gardening and landscaping.  Gzimi brings expertise in house building and in urban facilities, schools, municipalities and sports fields as well as roof gardening. For example, the company created both Oertelplatz and Südpark as well as numerous playgrounds and sports fields in Munich. idverde, the largest landscaping company in Europe, brings expertise and experience from thousands of colleagues working in six different countries.

Green expertise in southern Germany

With Gzimi, idverde further expands its presence in southern Germany, as the company is one of the largest landscaping providers for large and complex projects in Bavaria. “Gzimi is a strong base for us in Bavaria and, after Mainz and Stuttgart, extends our green footprint into south-eastern Germany”, says Jan Jörgenshaus, CEO of idverde Germany. “Bringing Gzimi on board gives idverde the benefit of a very experienced workforce while also providing an opportunity for Gzimi to thrive and prosper, fully leveraging the strengths of the idverde Group.”

Working together for growth

Gzimi has a reputation for commitment, team spirit and quality, which makes the idverde match an ideal one: “As part of an international group, new opportunities will open up for us and our employees – be it through the strong network within Germany or the Europe-wide collaboration,” says Christopher Nolde, who runs the business together with founder Gzim Krasniqi.

The Munich-based company is already benefiting from the close cooperation with idverde and is investing strongly into the future. “We appreciate the trust idverde has placed in us and look forward to shaping the green world of tomorrow together,” says Gzim Krasniqi.

idverde is looking to continue its expansion in Germany and is in ongoing discussions with interested potential partners. “idverde’s growth in Germany makes us proud, and as the number one European landscaping company we are committed to bringing the best of European best practices to our German clients. And we are delighted to welcome our new colleagues from Gzimi and look forward to working together towards bringing solutions to cities and businesses which need to adapt to climate change” says Olivier Brousse, CEO of the idverde Group. To further strengthen the dialogue with the industry, idverde Germany will also be represented at the GaLaBau trade fair in Nuremberg in September 2022.
