Quadruple Bali Awards Success For idverde

idverde has been awarded four prestigious British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) National Awards, in recognition of its excellent standards of workmanship and project delivery:

  • The Avenue Cemetery, Salisbury – Hard Landscaping Construction (non-domestic) under £500K
  • Upton Country Park – Hard Landscaping Construction (non-domestic) over £500K
  • Holland Park Adventure Playground – Hard Landscaping Construction (non-domestic) over £500K
  • Holland Park Adventure Playground – Community and Schools Development

The annual awards are now in their 44th year, and no other Awards scheme for designers and contractors demands the level of professional excellence expected by the BALI National Landscape Awards Adjudication panel of acclaimed industry experts.

Commenting on this year’s judging, BALI Lead Adjudicator, John Melmoe said: “The 2020 BALI Awards will undoubtedly go down in the annuals of history for being the most challenging to pull off. The Adjudication Panel, supported by determined BALI staff, were adamant that the COVID issues would not undermine the integrity of the inspection and judging process. The entrants, in all categories, deserved this commitment which has been delivered with gusto and enthusiasm.

“We were once again delighted to see members totally focused on submitting flawless projects, highlighting significant contributions from their staff. For the first time in the Awards’ history a number of schemes could not be separated on the merits of workmanship and quality alone, with the panel having to revert to the details in the entrants’ technical submissions to determine the ultimate winners.”

Each of the National Award-winning projects will now compete with the other winners in their category for the prestigious Principals, Specials, and coveted Grand Award at this year’s event which, for the first time in its 44-year history, will be held virtually via a special online broadcast on Friday 4th December.

idverde’s CEO, Doug Graham says: “I am proud to be able to congratulate our idverde colleagues for their dedication and superb efforts in delivering such high quality projects to secure these awards which, once again, further emphasise our mantra to be the ‘provider of choice’. Well done to everyone involved, and let’s all raise our socially distanced glass in recognition of this great achievement!”

idverde would also like to congratulate CED Stone Group on its BALI National Award in the Affiliate Exceptional Service category, which is sponsored by idverde.
