Creating a greener, more pleasant environment at Bournemouth University
The project
idverde completed this impressive installation in the main atrium of the Fusion 1 Building at Bournemouth University in February 2016, under instruction from Wilmott Dixon who were the main building contractors.
The 3 x large 7m Ficus Exotica trees were chosen by the client and sourced from Holland. Each tree specimen was carefully installed into large in-situ pits incorporated into the main atrium by our team of operatives.
We serviced fortnightly maintenance visits to include all watering, feeding and pruning, for an initial period of 12 months period. We now carry out these maintenance visits directly through our client at Bournemouth University.
