Play Area Creation, Cheshire
Lovell Homes enquired about the installation of a Local Equipped Area for Play (LEAP) to accompany their new building site which is made up of 3,4 & 5 bedroom homes and 2 & 3 bedroom bungalows in Weston Woods, situated in the Cheshire village of Weston.

Lovell Homes already had a design from a contracted landscape architect ready to be supplied and installed and was under the belief that the plan had already been approved. However, when it came to installing the play area, the local authority was unwilling to approve the design. idverde supported Lovell Homes by quickly resolving the issue, contacting Cheshire East and ANSA to design an area that would be approved by the council and minimising workload for all parties.
The result
The community engaged with the installation team throughout the process, eager to see the finished result. The installation went smoothly, with idverde installing a range of Playforce and Vinci equipment and completing the project in June 2021.
