GIS Mapping Services
idverde’s Systems Support colleagues are trained in desktop GIS software and work across various GIS platforms including MapInfo and QGIS. They undertake GIS mapping for local authorities, facilities managers, housing groups, and private sector businesses, and actively promote the management of assets through GIS.
Some recent projects completed that utilised GIS Mapping are outlined below.
Isle of Wight Council
idverde mapped out the various maintenance regimes across the island using the Authority’s asset database. GIS software was then used effectively to extract quantities and site data for each maintenance task and area and to allocate routes for each maintenance team.
FM provider SPIE
idverde was commissioned to measure and map the hard and soft landscape assets of eight primary and secondary schools in Liverpool. Site visits with the contract management team built an initial understanding of site layout and features, and GIS software was then used to accurately map each location’s features.
